Anything is possible. How deep is your wallet? For 300 I'd buy it all anyway. I don't see why it wouldn't fit. It's as simple as fabbing up motor/trans mounts...

Yup, it will fit. The 9" you will probably have to modify to be the right length and have the right attachment points to bolt it in, so it may be better to sell that and get an 8.8 that will bolt right up in the bird. Otherwise, it should be pretty straight-forward, especially since your car is carbed already, so the only thing you will have to figure out is motor and trans mounts.

-90 XR7 5-speed black on black w/sunroof, MP2, coated rotors, double intercooler, 15%OD, ported heads, comp stage 1 cam, 85mm TB, 90MM LMAF, 80# injectors, and ported big valve heads
-98 Mark VIII LSC, Procharger P600b, TR3650 swap and 3.73s.

-97 Tbird Sport 4.6 Nice weather daily driver

Ford used to sell A kit to swap a 460 into A fox.
Oil pan, pick-up & engine mounts.

Think they have a double hump trany cross also.

Don't have a new book to check if they still sell it.

There's at least one member here who has a 460 in their Tbird, and it shouldn't be too hard to do at all.

Delete my account.
