what kind of puller takes off an SC crank pulley

I have a puller set meant for power steering and alternator pulleys but what kind of puller takes of the big crank pulley on an SC, Can I rent it at autozone?

Spinning pies like wheels.

DD driving my 20 year old project

Now with new ball joints...again

yeah they have one for a $32 core charge. make sure they give you the right one! cause they will give you one that is too small.. idiots..

The crank pulley simply bolts on. If you want to remove the harmonic balancer, then use a harmonic balancer puller. Autozone only carries one.

well its a pulley with 2 belts running through it and yeah I guess I should have to just ask for the harmonic balancer pulley. Thanks for the reply.

I bought mine its not a bad price and plus will remove the steering wheel. Forgot what I paid though.

If all else fails get a bigger hammer!

Your question still is not clear..

Are you ultimately trying to remove the Crank Pully, or the harmonic balancer?..

If you are just removing the pully, as it was stated it's only 4 bolts and the pully will come off the Harmonic Balancer..

If you Ultimately need the Harmonic balancer off, you will need the puller set.
