An 18mm crow foot is helpful. This is like a line wrench, but with a 3/8" square hole to drive with a ratchet and extension. The other end of it is way up on top of the subframe by the rack and is kind of a pain in the ass to get to. IIRC, on the 4.6 models I have always came in from the bottom by the oil filter to get to this connection, but on a 3.8 I have came down by the power distribution box to unhook the line. It may work just as well on the 4.6 too. Just some ideas, hope this helps.
