Heater hose question?

Any tricks getting the heater hose off and back on. It's a tight spot and my hands are kinda big trying to get in that darnnn @#$%[email protected]$ spot. Any hints....
BTW it's the slitly longer one that connects to the water outlet. ("The most drivers side hose") that was explained to me by the parts dealler at FORD.

off the heater core tubes?

I love my V8, but I'd love it more if all 8 cylinders worked. (they do now)

My T-bird is like George Jetson's wife, you try to give her a little money, she takes the whole wallet.

Thanks guys. I got it done. Just getting that extra space allowed me to get in and change the hose. Looks like someone before me had the clamp on the hose right next to it turned towards the hose and has been rubbing and put a hole in it. I think I'm gonna go a head and change the water pump this weekend too. At 120,000 miles cant hurt.
