Was driving to work today when my service engine soon light came on the dash. We ran our scanner on it its giving the error code 1443. Anyone here know something about that? Said something about an evap control valve
Basically, you will be working in front of the wheelwell, behind the finder liner. Be sure to use fuel rated hose, not vacuum hose. You will have to get creative for one of the lines, as each end is a different size.
While I was in there, I replaced both electrical parts. They are still available, and not too expensive. You could skip them to save $, but it is a gamble. Probably a small gamble, as the hoses are likely the culprit.
Ironically, the light came on for me after running a can of Seafoam in a full tank. Coincidence? Maybe.
There's a step down/step up vacuum connector available from dorman in the help section. 47432 is the kit part number. Only one of them is the right one but there's my help for the day lol.
