my shaddy alarm

well...i locked my doors this morning...and a few seconds later...as im like 30 feet away from my car...my alarm started going off...my thought is that since it takes a few seconds for my alarm to engage...and if a door is open, it will go off. my doors were closed...but im thinking my car thinks one is open...so my question is..how do i fix it...now that i tried it again...like an hour later...it doesnt do it anymore...my temporary fix was to leave the doors unlocked...

if you have the factory keyless entry like me, open up the door panels and look for a gray plastic connector under the door lock. On my pass. side the connector was unplugged and looked crunched, I re-connected it and it hasn't gone off since. If everything is connected, wd-40 the area around the door locks. If your door ajar light is on 24/7 than its a switch/wiring issue right around the door lock, usually the int. light pin is fine and isn't the problem.
