Blower snout seal

I read a tech thread about changing the seal on the blower pullery seal and it appeared to be relatively easy. When I called my local dealer he said that that seal was not listed as a separate part. When I talked to my local SC guru, he said I had to send the blower out to the manufacturer to have it replaced. He said he tried to match the seal with many types available locally, but no luck and he sent it out to be replaced. HELP!!!!
