Installing a 2nd battery...

Am I going to hurt anything by hooking an extra battery to my stereo systems 4ga. positive wire in the trunk?

No problem if you install an isolator. Otherwise, I'm not sure. My dual battery setup is in my Bronco with an isolator (the amplifiers from the stereo and the off road lights are all setup off the second battery). I've run the stereo until there was no sound and started it right up with no problem.

Nearly any automotive parts store, RV center, boat store and several other places. Just ask for a dual battery isolator.

They range from 19.99 to over 100.00 depending on what the kit comes with.
