valve body questions?

I am looking to od something about the shifting in my car. My 2 options are buy a shift kit or just buy a whole new performance valve body. What would you guys suggest and what brands?

Right now I am thinking about the Performance Automatic valve body, would that be a good idea?

Oh, and theres nothing wrong with the J-mod but I want to hear other options.
