I run a mix of 50/50 distilled water and green anti-freeze from Prestone in the engine coolant system. Have been for years and it works great. I also use a 180 t-stat. For the I/C system, I run a mix of 70/30 distilled water and Dexcool orange coolant. I also use a little water wetter in the mix. The simple color difference between fluids can help you solve a leak issue later on.
I would NEVER run Dexcool in the engine, but that's just me. Even the I/C likes to crystalize from time to time.
