Lightbulb headlight adapter clip broke

i was changing bulbs and one of the adapter retaining clips broke off, i dont think it will hold on there too well with just one, can u buy these at the auto store, and how do you hook it up? its just the plastic retainer clip that is broken

You mean that plastic clip on the connecter to the bulb? Both mine are broken, they have never fallen out or even come loose. It should be fine.

HaHaHAhAAAhAAHHHAhhAA.....Don't feel bad, join the very
large club of those who have done the very same thing.
I did and mine are still holding.

Someone explained the secret is to push on the end of the clip,
do NOT lift it, until it slides over the retaining hump by
itself - 'course I wouldn't know as both mine are broken off.

My clips are broken and the headlights wont stay connected. I have string tied around them at the moment to hold it together. I really need a set of these.

Both my clips are broken, plus I don't have the spiffy lil ring that holds the whole assembly into the headlight. The ring was the only thing that I didn't get for my 96/7 headlight swap. Ok, well that and a matching hood...

It's been that way for 3 months. The way things are going it looks like it'll be that way till I win the lottery.

Mostly stock...

For now...
