changng shock?+MSD?

Could anyone tell me how to take out the rear shocks? If it is hard I will have someone else do it. I have changed shock before but not on this car. What would be a good shock to go with? I know this is not about shocks but does the MSD 4 tower help my perfomance out.? 95 Cougar 4.6L
thanks........kenneth

Taking the rear shocks out is pretty easy, and only requires some metric wrenches, and a floor jack.
