RMTC is a great group of people dedicated to having fun with their Tbirds. We have 145 members (not all active of course) and tbirds from 1955 to 2005. We drive in several local parades. Have car shows and activities (like the chilli cook -
off). Not too many will have their birds out in late January but there will be some.

Let me know if you want more info and if you want to go the cook off just let me know. You would be welcome people just bring pots of chilli and desserts. No charge. A lot of us bring door prizes to donate and there is a raffle to raise $ for the club. Usually like 5 tickets for a buck. My buddy down in Erie has a blown 96 that was once featured in a national magazine.

We should hook up some time. I live down in Loveland now.

Donald when i get the next news letter I will see what is on the agenda for March.
60 degrees here today but could be three feet of snow in March.

I'd love more info on the RMTC. I love my bird and no one I know understands why. I love that there are locals who do. It will always be my baby and I am very proud of doing the work myself.

My story is I bought a 95 from a neighbor when I was 16. I bought it because it was a V8 that was not considered sporty and so I could afford the insurance on it. I crashed it 2 years ago and have since bought a horrible 95 off ebay. Nothing worked on it but I figured the price was right and I'd swap everything over. I have swapped the Power train over and that works fine except it almost never starts on the first try. Second try every time. hmmm.

Right now, I am buying up suspension part right now and tires are next. I just bought the OEM front sport shocks from Jon. I am going to get the Bilstein rears. Considering cutting springs but still doing some research on that.

It is a project car for sure, and a slow one at that as I just got married and funds that go to the car are a lower priority. I drive it once in a while but as a college student who lives near campus, I bike most places. I'd love to meet up sometime and check out your car.

Let me know what works for you. I am retired and have a lot of free time. Could meet up by the campus at Wendys or what ever.

I drive the bird most every day. I have a beater but will probably sell it soon.

I have two stock tires that I would sell really cheap if you need something to get yoy by for a while. I think they would be good for at least 10,000 miles (If you dont light them up)

Invite to the chilli deal is open.

PS I dont think i would cut the springs.

Two tires would be awesome. What would you like for them? How old are they? Tire stores won't mount anything older than 6 years.

Since the Chili cook off is coming up, I'd totally meet up with you guys then. Sounds fun.

I was looking for $10.00 each. Not sure how old they are but I know a guy near campus who will mount them for you. Rod over at Straight Line alignment. He is also an expert front end guy. Knows T birds and has done a lot of work for me.

His shop is right down Garfield east of college a couple blocks.

Hey Donald,

March looks like an indoor meeting at a bowling alley in Denver. April 25th will be fun with a tour down to the Rambler Ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado.

In August we are doing a 4 day tour around the state. Kinda like a mini power tour.

Cool. It looks like I won't be coming out in Mar like I planned, but Aug might be doable.
