There were a few guys out here that formed a loose group. There was never any thing formal.

Where are you guys located? I am in Loveland and have some T-Bird pals.

Also I belong to the Rocky Mountain Thunderbird Club which is mainly people interested in all Thunderbirds, not many are into performance aspects. We drive our cars in local parades and do shows etc. We are planning to do some good cruising this spring and summer.

Give me a shout.

Thanks for the response, I am in Colorado Springs. I was hoping that I would run across some fellow T' birder's lol.. I am still learning my SC, my next job is to attempt to change the plugs and wires. I have done it before on other cars, but wow this one? It looks very challenging. Anyway hit me up fellas!

Colorado ' Bird owner, chiming in....... A bit north of Denver, in Lafayette, myself...

Hey, boogiedown27, have you checked out your local U Pull & Pay? I keep meaning to buzz down to the Springs to rummage through the location down there.. Most weekends I'm usually at either the Denver or Aurora locations, just poking around. No T-Birds in the Co. Spgs. inventory right now (that I'm interested in), but they do have two Crown Vics (97&98) that I'm wondering what motor parts I might be able snag.. Here's the link, and it's neat that they post their inventory online.

http://www.upullandpay.com

Their prices rock, too! Every so often, they have a two-for-one day, and we're about due for another one of those. Hey, a day at the junkyard is cheaper admission than a movie, and MUCH more entertaining!!!

Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?" www.despair.com

Well when the weather gets a little better maybe we can meet up.

I have never done plugs on an SC so im no help there. They are a piece of cake on a 4.6.

I have a buddy in Erie with a blown 4.6 and a 2003 little bird.

Yes I have been to the U pull and pay, I love that place. It's like being in a cheap toy store lol. That is true I have not seen any SC's but I head manage to get my hands on a headlight switch out of a 94 Thunderbird.

Definitely I would love to meet up some time in the spring, it should be a blast. By then hopefully I would have all of minor maint. done lol. Still trying to get some of my buddies to come by and tackle the plugs and wires lol. Right now it is just a little bit too chilly for me outside to tackle it. Let's make sure we stay in touch fellas!

Yes I did most of them myself. Some of the suspension work I had done. But I did the engine myself and installed it. Some of the guys here helped me put in the tranny.

Let me know if you want info on any. I just put in the 80 mm mass air a few weeks ago. Feels like it made a difference.

That sounds great, would love to be apart of the cruises. I probably would be asking a lot of questions. I am new to the SC world so to speak. But I have a few things I know I need to do first before I will take the car on a road trip. It's sad that I won't drive no more than five miles. Ever since the car would cut off if I would really stomp on the gas.

So now I know I need to pull the plug and wires just a lil bit nervous about that. Also I tried to check the fluid in the super charger, and my luck the screw is stripped lol. So now I am like do I pay to have someone to do it? Or try it myself lol. Then I believe my bird would be ready to fly! Since you are very knowledgeable about the bird I figured I would right this long post about my situation.

Thanks

Well unfortunately I do not have much knowledge on the SC.

Here is a site wherea lot of SC guys hang out. I have met a lot of the Missouri and Illinois guys here.

http://www.tbu.cx/phpBB/ The guy Xr7Dave is the fellow who has tuned my car and a lot of the SC's out here and in St. Louis.

Have you tried the Super Coupe Forum as well.

I will post more details on the cruises when I have them.
