I have a '04 taurus with a 3.0 DOHC duratech......can I supercharge this and keep it stock, or am I looking at modifying the compression, pistons, ignition, etc. and does anyone even make performance stuff for these engines?
"the TCCA" (We are TCCoA) is the place to go with these questions.
Rabid Tortise fans over there. I'm a there member too These are the guys/gals who would have tried something like this if it has been done already and will be glad to help you with anything Tortise related. They are a little weak on SHO info, however.
I know of a few people with centrifugal superchargers on their duratec cougar's. I believe they're Vortech setups.
