3rd Temp Sender

Hey Guys,

Been going over my engine, and I found another coolant temp sensor, its at the back of the engine on the tube that runs from under the intake. I think my car had EATC, is that just a sensor for that?

Thanks for your help,

Brandon

i do belive reading here that if you have that sensor it has to do with the climate controls hence threaded into the heater core lines.

yes it is for the SATC climate control module, it is designed so that when set to auto, the heat doesn't blow until the engine is warm, this is easily bypassed by turning the dial to anything other than auto, if you don't have the SATC anymore, than get rid of it, could be a good place to add an autometer coolant temperature gauge sending unit for an acurate temperature
