Electric fan question

Hey everyone! Quick question. I have a friend who recently bought a 95 lx with a 4.6. His electric fan isnt working when it should. He replaced the fan motor, and it still didnt work. I just went out and closed the circut on the temperature switch and the fan didnt come on. Im not sure where the fan relay is located on this car or if it has one.
Has nayone cured a similar issue? any thoughts? anything else i should check?
Thanks!
Gordon

The "fan relay" is part of the CCRM (the black box forward of the air filter box). Did you check the 60A fan fuse in the fuse box under the hood?

It's not a super common thing like the intake cracking or the MAF getting dirty but it does happen.
