Forged -> Rebuild or new block?

I want to go with a forged block in the near future. I have a stock 96 NPI 4.6 2V, would it be better to rebuild it forged or should I hunt for a newer rebuilt PI forged block on eBay or net search?

Thanks,

Josh

I wish! haha

Realistically I think this one would be in my price range, I’d just have to get heads.

I think it's a pretty good deal because they give you an aluminum Teksid block. Most of the other shops charge over $3K for an iron short block.I was thinking about buying that short block too stead of building my own but my engine is at the machine shop getting .020 over now.
