Problem removing battery???

the bolt on the negative cable is completely stripped...it is round. I can't get it to budge. Anyone have any ideas to remove it?? Normally I would try to dremel a slit on it and use a screwdriver, but im not sure if that is the smartest idea to create all those sparks over the battery. Cables and terminals are full of corrosion.

I guess plan b is to just remove the entire negative cable. Thanks for any help

if your replacing the battery anyway I would just cut the terminal off and strip the wires and put them on a pinch clamp type, I like those better than the wrap around pinch type.
