'93 Mark VIII : 4.6 ?

Does a '93 mark VIII have a 4.6 in it?

Yes it has the DOHC version of the 4.6L in it. Nice fun cars actually.

Will the flexplate bolt up to the crank on my '94 sohc 4.6 ? I thought that it would, just wanted to make sure before I buy the flexplate. thanks

It will bolt up but if you're looking for a stock replacement you need one from a cougar or Thunderbird.Mark viii's had different torque converters.If you keep the stock t-bird t/c,it wont bolt to the new flexplate. hope that helps

Yeah, I'm actually using a 4R70W from a Mark, with the smaller Mark vIII T/C.

So it all works out. Thanks!
