good deal.

finally i got a good deal on some pi heads. i asked my instructor at school, if they'd sell, these 5.4 heads that came off 99 econoline van, (demonstration motor). he just told me i could have them if i swap the heads off of it. he said i could put early production heads on it if i wanted to replace the others. so i think i'm going to go through with it . the only thing i have to do is drill out one valve cover bolt hole and use an easy out. cause one of the bolts broke in it. but before i definatly do get them, i'm going to pressure check them and make sure they dont leak. you guys think i should go through with this?

Current Mods:
balanced & blueprinted block. by my dad & I @ (The Engine Shop INC.) i'm running manley forged i beam rods, forged manely .020 16cc dish pistons, forged 8 bolt crankshaft thats been polished, corba high volume oil pump, block has been align bored & decked. ported and polished early production heads, heads have been milled, 3 angle valve grind, ported exhaust manifolds, gasket matched intake, dual inlet dual outlet dynomax turbo muffler underseat with 3inch turndowns. transmission heavy duty clutches, b&m shift kit, frrp t lock with 373.

do you have everything that is needed to convert a 94/95 style intake to a 96+ intake? have you searched on this?

if so, and if you can get the windsor valve covers for it, sure go for it...cheap bang for the buck....PI heads/cams/intake would get you about 200-220 RWHP untuned, and close to 240 RWHP tuned
