Need help finding part...

I had a strong gas smell coming from my 4.6 engine...i wasn't sure if I was just running rich or if there was a leak. I finally found the problem, it was a split line. I called my local Ford dealership and went to my local parts store, they all said that the part was obsolete so they don't make it anymore...

It is the fuel rail crossover on the top front of the engine for a 1995 T-Bird 4.6
the engineering number on the tag is: F4SE-9F792AC
underneath that number it also has: 941010A

Thanks for any help guys!

that doesnt necessarily make it unavailable....any ford counter can check inventory in the entire nation's Ford dealerships...did they do that?

I don’t believe the crossover hose was ever available as a stand alone part. Dealerships had the hose in bulk with the requisite thermal core shrinker.
Any hose shop should have aeroquip socketless hose that will be just fine as a replacement for ΒΌ the cost and requires no special tools.

www.BRAINCOATING.com..... Powder & Ceramic Coating

WWW.PRESTONSBOOKS.BIZ..... Books at really great prices!

Thanks guys, ya I ended up just using some hosing, just like the aeroquip, to make the crossover line with the heat sleeve around it.
