Unhappy bank 2 lean code

Ok i did a tune up and switched the fuel filter and changed the oil and changed the air filter.

Now i am getting a bank 2 lean mil code.

I am stumped it only will do it when i first start it and let it idle down to normal rpm.

When i clear the code it wont come back on till the next time i start her.

I have changed the o2 sensors do to the mil codes that were coming up sercut closed?

They have been replaced and now i am getting this code i am stumped.

I am wondering if it is one of the fuel pressure regulator or a injector?

I replaced some of the rubber lines under the hood as well do to and feel like there cracked and brittle.

Thank you for the input and the help

That is an easy fix. The harness going to the o2 sensor is bad. you need change it. The plastic coating on the wire falls off and the bear wires touch. that's why your getting that code. go to a wrecking and get a chunk of that harness, but remember to check the wire on the one you are buying. if you can't find any good one's let me know. I have some good one's I have pulled.

It could be a multitude of things. One thing you could do is pull the bank two oxygen sensor and switch it with the bank one oxygen sensor and see if you get a bank one lean code. I had this issue a few weeks back it was a defective oxygen sensor.

you don't need to do all that. Just change the end of the 02 harness and this code will go away. I have had the same code on both of my car's, So I know what the problem is. The plastic on the driver's side o2 harness get's brittle and fall's off and the wire's touch or get wet it will turn the check engine light on with that code. Trust I had to fix this code twice.

Usually a MAF will affect BOTH banks and give 2 lean codes, never hurts to clean it though!.

sorry if i made you mad guitar maestro.
forgot to chime in to finish it.
i got use to other sites where you post in one spot and there is no answers for pushing a year and a half and put the same type in anouther post and find the answer.
still getting use to the site didnt mean to get any one ticked.
i ended up recleaning the conection and adding dieletric grease and cured it. ironically

I think he means he put some dielectric grease on the 02 connector before plugging it in...
