MHS intake

Hi guys I recently picked up a barely used MHS ported PI intake for a good price. I see on their website it doesn't work as well on stock ported heads. does anybody know would it be worse than a non ported PI? Would it be just a matter of matching the port on the head to the intake. I've done porting before so it wouldn't be a big deal. This intake is the slightly blue plastic is there anything special about this plastic? Thanks in advance Mike

People put bullitt intakes on NPI heads with good results and I doubt that one flows more than a bullitt. Btw can a plastic manifold be ported?

I thought the only difference between the MHS intake and the PI was the smoothed injector bosses. It shouldn't hinder performance at all.

Yeah it's ground out to the injector boss and taperd into the port. I can see where it won't match a stock port very well and cause some turbulence . I think I'll probably match the port on the head to the intake. Is the blue plastic anything special? Mike

The intake has a blue tint to it. It's not black like all the others I've seen

It's probably just the composition, I think my PI intake had a bluish hue to it as well.
