4.6 97 lx dying on right turns

I have a 97 lx, 4.6 thunderbird with roughly 240,000 miles on her. The car randomly shuts off during RIGHT turns. It will restart, but instantly stalls itself out. It will only stay running if I either hold the brake, or put it in neutral and rev it to around 2500-3000rpm. If I put it in drive it tries to bog out and in order to keep it running I need to keep the rpm up high.

Any one have any ideas how to fix this.? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There's something grounding out when you turn right; until it shakes around a bit, the car won't start.

Check the big wire bundle that goes thru the firewall on the passenger side, and goes to the big connector.

Those are popular for idiots to pull out and run wires thru, and then when they don't put the grommet back in the hole, the main harness sits on the edge of the firewall until it chews thru.

If it's ok, then you need get underneath, and check around the exhaust manifolds.

Those are the easy ones; if that ain't it, you just have to keep looking.

It could even be a plug wire grounding out to the header when you turn...
