96 mustang gt brain

I did a 5 speed conversion on my 97 tbird and has anyone done a brain swap into the tbird?
I know it has a PAT system

I couldn't locate a SC set up so I made my own from a sn95 mustang pedals.
It was involved but works great.
I had wrecked 2001 and 1997 GT mustangs and used all the parts I could from them. I used the 1997 GT's brain as well with the PATS too.

I'm still not sure what is the point of putting a Mustang PCM into a Thunderbird. Just get a tune to accommodate the changes you're making and the Thunderbird PCM should work just fine.

The way I look at it, you have to get a tune anyway to disable the PATS alone, along with whatever else you've done with the car.

I really can't see the advantage of the Mustang PCM at all.

Well, I just wanted to see if anyone else did.
I got a pcm, pats modules and other stuff, the key and ignition
Paid $30 for all the parts, some wire, mustang manual, and a few 6 packs and I have it in my tbird. Maybe the only tbird with a PATS.
Works great and saved $400.
There are no problems only solutions
that $400 bought a lot of beer. lol

who wants pats in there car? You like adding the potential for something to fail and cause the car not to start? I don't, I drive old turds for a reason.
