MHS Stage 1 Blower Cams?

Hey guys just finished putting my motor together and got myself thinking about installing some different cams. I was looking into the mhs stage 1 and stage 2 Blower cams, I am wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much hp To expect from them? Or maybe if their are better choices for my application. 4.6 SVO Blower, 3400 stall tc, and 373 TL. Any input is appreciated!

We used Comp 268 cams on may of Rob's SVO Builds. I ran those cams up until I put the TF heads on my car then I switched to Cushman Motorsports (VT) Stage 2.5 Blower Cams
.536/.540 lift, 228/235 .050 duration, 114 LSA

I think the Comp 268's will work well for you. COMP Cams® - Xtreme Energy 268 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft, Part # 12-242-2 Dyno Sheet

I made about 383 RWHP with the Comp cams. A lot of it comes down to blower pulley size, cooling and tuning. You have to get the meth injection system set up right for these SVOs to work their best.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. Fusion® Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

Nice that's good to know I was looking at the comp 268s also,.

now if I was to get the 268's from Cushman motor sports and have them degree the cams would that make the install much easier?

383 rwhp would be awesome, im curious what power I will make I have the svo set up with a 9lb pulley and a snow performance meth/water boost activated kit, I also threw on a set of longtube headers hopefully thos help out some.

And as far as tuning I talked with don @ lasota racing and we were going to go the data logging route to get the tune dialed in, do you think that would work out well? Or should I find a dyno to get things tuned in?

Degreeing the cams has to be done on the motor. Not sure how Cushman would do that for you.

Probably work best getting your tune with Don. You can get a mail order tune from someone who knows the 4.6 or a dyno tune from someone who doesn't. I'd also suggest calling RobertP to discuss options. IMHO nobody knows these SVO's better that Rob.

He's on vacation this week but I'd suggest calling his shop Monday or Tuesday. You can reach him at 910.947.7044

On their website they have a degree service, it says they have npi 2v engine dedicated to set the degree for you, I figured that might be kinda nice to have it already done.

And yea I did talk to rob a while back I'll have to give him another call and go through a few things with him. Thank!

Don is really good to work with, but its my understanding that he his unable to monitor the air fuel ratio with the normal data logging process.

I'm glad to hear that! And supposedly their is a way, atleast i hope it works, but i did some research and I should be able to monitor it with my wideband a/f gauge and my x cal 3 and give him the data through live links

Ya. If you can data-log with your wideband, you should be all set.
