Pnp npi heads

Well first i am pretty much stock. I have been looking around and have decided on a good pnp job on npi heads with pi cams for a foundation to start on. By foundation i mean, later i can get a bigger throttle body or pullies and they will give me a little better performance than just plus 8 or so hp. Anyways i was wondering what all places around would be worth spending money on. I've seen some posts on one or two, but i looked on corral and found a bunch, like steen racing and livernois motorsports. Have any of you guys had any transactions with these guys and or others. And also what major things should i get or look for when shopping for these.

tony

p.s. anybody have any npi heads sittin around

I have heard good things from Renegade, Fox Lake, and Livernois. I know that JL and Chadg have the Renegade heads. They have only said good things about them.

I suggest Renegade..

A throttle body isn't going to give you 10+hp even with pnp heads.

I will have some NPI heads "sittin around" in about 2 weeks.

I have renegade NPI's on the way.. should be here in a week or so.. as soon as they go in, you can have the old ones....

You might check with Fox-Lake, when I talked to them, they did not have any, nor did the do any NPI's.. they only carry PI heads, but perhaps if you sent them cores, they would do them...

however...

the guy doing the renegade heads is sort of an NPI specialist... he's been working on getting the max flow from them and has it down.. there may be others out there, but I put my money (and he is reasonable) on renegade after a lot of research and talking to guys on the site... everyone has there favorite, but everyone has good things to say about renegade, especially re: NPI's... the guy doing the heads is now the guy building engines for Reinhart... he's very good.

talk to JL, he just put renegades in ... and he posted some pictures... very impressive..

If you decide to go with renegade, I can ship the heads to him and tell him to earmark them for you ... if you want em, just match the core charge and pay the freight and there yours

unless I get a better offer... anyone want them???????

Jim at Renegade works wonders NPI and PI. I'd be interest to see what my setup would do with a set of PnP'd NPI's. Mebbe I can lure JL up here. Whatcha say?

If you want to get out of the cold... c'mon down to sunny FLA... I'll loan you mine for a few days.... of course the 90+ degree heat and humidity may have a bit of influence on your numbers....
