head gasket

How labor intensive is putting a head gasket on a 94 4.6?

I have the automotive knowledge, but I work and have to leave for college in a week. Will i be able to have it done by then, or am i stuck forking out $750 at the dealership.

Id leave this one up to how confident you feel in your labor skills and how fast you can get the parts. It is alot of work. If you had time, now would be a great opportunity to get some less restrictive heads on.

Ive heard of people paying more than $750 for HG replacement. Not that bad of a price I guess....

Good Luck.

Some supercharged cars blow.......Others just pick up and move.
