gentleman

i know if i run this in my bird as is, problems may arise..

but, does anyone know if places like apten, fordchip, or Dennis will accept this EEC and burn the program into it rather than doing the chip?

let me know if you know..

???????????? what do you mean by that??? whats wrong with burning an EEC instead of a chip?? if both do the same, why not get the new computer? money isn't an issue, i always have 2x the amount needed... just in case..

As far as I know they are not the same. If you look around you can get a better matching EEC for $50. F___Chip is the only place that can burn an EEC. Expect to wait two months... If you are lucky...

If you want something in a week or two get a chip from some one else...

Instead of asking the masses out there why not ask Dennis, Apten, Ford chip , or which ever of the experts of your choice, that tune ,and burn chips/eecu's what works........you know, right from the horses mouth, so to speak. If you ask , then listen as they (the tuners) know wherein they speak. LOL

Dude,
Come one you know who rules in Florida? If you recommended a vendor to burn a chip for the local Florida populous who will you recommend? To be honest I wish I had the support you have in your state!

If the EEC has the same hardware module as your Tbird EEC(ML-334 or ML-334a),then it can be reburnt to do what you want.
I can't remember if the '98 GT's are that hardware module or not..

J.Miller; with regard to recommending someone in the same state, thats just one alternative.... smart money actually transacts in another state whenever practicable as a matter of routine to avoid sales tax,, but I do like Mr. Reinhart....LOL
