Where to find Heat Shield?

Yea I am interested in getting a Heat Shield for my cold air intake. Where do I go about finding one and what are the prices on them? Thanks.

Sold my Cougar . But I am in the market for another MN12 project!

I "found" mine posing as a Pedigree Dog food bucket.

I made this one out of a sheet of Diamond plate. Steeda sells one but be creative and make one yourself. The main idea is to block the hot air coming from the fan and exhaust of course. Personally I like to open up the hole in the body a bit when installing a cone filter setup rather then do the bend.

Nice pictures ! How big should a guy make the hole in the sheet metal !
Do you leave the piping in place. (The larger part of the air silencer )

I agree with opening up the hole. I usually remove most of the flat area where the air box was (meaning the horizontal/bottom area).

You can see one of my heatshields in this pic:

It's polished aluminum with engraved lettering.

I don't use any part of the resonator.
