00 MAF same as 02?

I bought a 02 Mustang MAF, airtube, and airbox from someone on mustangworld.com.

To make a long story short they screwed me and sent me the MAF housing without the sensor. They had the nerve to blame me for not specifing that the sensor is part of the MAF.
Anyway, see this post if you want the details: http://www.mustangworld.com/forums/s...hreadid=164623

Now, someone on that board is offering to sell me a 00 MAF. You only hear of the 02 and 03. Is the 00 the same? Will it fit in a 02 MAF housing? Is a 3.8 and 4.6 sensor the same?

I did a search and found the same question kind of asked, but no solid answer.

And don't let anyone start this 85mm nonsense on you either. It's an 80mm MAF, just like the Lightning ones. They get 85mm because they measure it on the ends, not the center.
