Intake Manifold

Looks like mine is leaking, I noticed the odor of antifreeze and while looking around for a leak I noticed a very very light puff of steam coming from behind the alternator.
I looked on rockauto.com to see if they have them. They do, $249.95 and the manufacturer is Dorman. My concern is the build quality and if it has the metal crossover. Has anyone bought one from Rock Auto? Fords whoesale price is $400.00.

PI intakes are a dime a dozen, do the swap while your intake is gone. price may hit 200 max...Figure no more than 160 for the intake and then the intake gaskets, I dont know how much they cost.

Check:

Ebay
Corral.net
ModularDepot.com

With the PI you'll pick up some extra horses too.

Dont buy another NPI intake

Hope this helps.

are there any problems trying to bolt a pi intake directly onto npi heads? I realize the holes aren't sized the same, but don't you need one of them bloody adapters that costs an arm and a leg?

No, you don't need the adapters. You simply need gaskets and RTV. Search for more info.
