How do you install a tach on a 96 Crown Vic

Hello, I work with a guy that has a 96 Crown vic and he asked me how to install a tach , I know its different than the thunderbirds so does anyone know on here how to do it. If so please explane .

C&L Cold Air Intake
American Racing Long Tube Headers
Catted X pipe

Connect your power/ground/illumination circuits as usual, then for the signal wire you're gonna need a DIS adapter so that it reads right.

i think this is it, also in there catelog they have a tachometer wiring kit, or something, has a DIS adapter, or something

wish i could be of more help, but FRPP has the parts he needs
