New Exhaust this week. Need part #s

Going to have true duals all the way back and ART is the only setup I have seen, but I know the parts can be had for a cheaper price. For those of you with part numbers for dual exhaust systems please contact me by posting here or PMing me.

I have the JBA headers on now with 2.5 and no cats so its can be a clean setup all the way back.

Problem is this kit has to be installed by Friday. Need part numbers now please.

Currently looking at the Magnaflow 14386 to replace the 3rd res....

I dont want a loud car prefer to have more of a sleeper setup. Truly want header dumps but those seem to be a thing of the past.

Muffler numbers and xpipe numbers would be appreciated. No flowmaster mufflers much too loud for me. :-)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 97 4.6L.

Thanks,

Todd

there are no part numbers....dual systems for ours cars are custom. Tru Bendz and supercoupeperformance.com are your only other options for a pre-made system.

As for mufflers, read this:

and Dr. Gas X pipes are arguably the best.

Thought dynomax would rate better than that.

Keep in mind that these are number compared to open pipes. Any of the top seven would be noticably better than stock.

I cant believe all the people on here who have done and are doing exhaust have no measurements available for the length of the pipes!??!?!!?

I called Dr. Gas and they dont do T Birds. Have to have measurements to give them and since I dont have an X pipe at this point it makes it a tad bit hard.

Bill @ supercoupeperformance decided not to answer his phone today, so I can't order his exhaust kit either. LOL

Can you tell I am just in a biatchy mood now?

To get the kit from ART it was over $800 because of the $125 in shipping to get it here by Saturday. And that doesnt include the shipping charge for the mufflers which he wanted to send ground. He does not keep kits on hand they are only made when asked for. Good guy to talk to, but don't try to get him to budge on the price. I have 3 cars I was going to put his kit on and he still said no to lowering the price.

Ok, vented, have a good day all.

Just get their universal X pipe. you don't need any measurements.

This is the one JL used:

as policy i make every thing to order this is not usally a problem. i started to make the system for you in order to rush it to you but you where in to much of a hurry. i do give discounts on muliple system order and repeat customers but not on a first order. if you still want the system i will send it out still give me a call and we might be able to work it out for you.

blk,

Didnt mean to make it sound like it was your fault that the order didnt go through. It was MINE, but I found a local shop that will do the kits.

You were very helpful and easy to work with unfortunatly do to time restrainsts and budget issues it didnt work out.

Going to see how this first car works out and then probably order your kit and put that on one of the others and see how that is and decide what to do from there.

Thanks again!

There is no way that you could get the art system by friday. But if you wanna go cheaper get the mark 8 setup for alot cheaper.........its the same thing without the downtubes and no mufflers or cats. You can get those things alot cheaper yourself. My buddy derrick did that on his 97 bird. He did it with Kooks headers though with no cats and flowmaster 40 series(not deltaflows). but if you wanna go quieter def go with the cats and the dynomax mufflers
