Oil Pressure

Ever since my last oil change, my oil pressure has been waaaay up on the back end of the M on NORM (95 4.6 w/ 103k). Any ideas why that would happen? Oil pump going out or some other ghostly thing? I think it threw a code which isnt good because the check engine light is on.....Any ideas are appreciated

Well the stock oil pressure guage only tells you if you have less than 6psi or more than 6psi...where it is on the gauge means nothing. I wouldn't worry about it...or get a real gauge.

buy some autometers. look on summits website. mine works i think, it varies between about 25 to 80 psi. it was pretty cheap too. i would suggest buying electrical gauges, not mechanical.
