I didn't realize that Lincoln's came with aluminum blocks, all the DOHC's???

2003 was the first year for the iron block DOHC. From 1993 until then it was aluminum only.

Be careful though the Conti has a diferent bellhousing since it is FWD

He says it's a rear drive block but I'd try to get more info on it...all his info isn't perfectly accurate, such as 1992 and that the heads are the same as all Cobras up to '01, etc...

It was but the bellhousing of a FWD modular will not bolt to your 4R70W
