Make sure you properly cover the throttle cable. The 94-5's throttle cables housing gets brittle after a while and cracks thus making sparks with the exposed Alt nut.


I keep my Alt nut covered (as well as deez) since it's always HOT!!!!

Thats not too bad just make sure the alternator isn't damaged and tape up the nut and wire.

that's the same altenator i use in my bird. you will not regret it. pair it up with optima yellow top and you can rest assured you don't have to worry about that for long long time.

Same samn thing that happend to mine....

But Mine decided to go further and grow flames!


Mine got so hot it melted the metal connector all the way off the wire... I had to get a new crip connector and then shrink wrap it to keep things from touching!

I checked this morning and the wire melted off on mine too...
