Turned over my first 100,000 on my 96 bird this weekend.

Still looks like new (except for minor rock chips on the front) - I routinely put high mileage on all my cars - so I expect to see 200,000 easily on my T-bird. (Had 218K on firebird, have 172K on my Olds, had 187K on Celica). Good maintenance & care = last almost forever.

My mods - Jerry 1 EEC reflash, remote oil filter (just under front bumper), front strut brace, rear trunk brace, 3.27 trac-lok, tranny cooler, and K&N panel filter.

Looking forward to my next 3000 mile road trip this fall.

Rookie...

100,000 miles is kid stuff. I've got a '95 with 212,000 miles on it. Due to hailstorms and getting a little too intimate with a guardrail, she ain't the prettiest car on the road anymore, but, as Han Solo said "She's got it where it counts." She officially for sale, but unofficially, I'm mentally running numbers to see how I can keep her. Her replacement ('82 Grand Marquis) just doesn't have the get up & go I've gotten accustomed to.
