Replacing mass air sensor, do I need to reset? asap.

Hey guys, im replacing the MAF here in about an hour or 2 as soon as i get by the store.

Do i need to reset the engine computer or anything? only reason why i asked was becasue i was talking to miki and he said something about reseting it.

Do i just unplug the old one and plug in the new one and leave it alone or is there anything else i need to do?

Thanks,

Matt

You can reset the computer if you have a check engine light to trun it off otherwise just plug it in and drive

pull out the fuse #15 in the fuse box(20amp fuse) for couple minutes and put it back and you're done. with the car not running of course.

or you could just crank the starter a couple quick times while that fuse is out to not have to wait
