That's for 94-95's, 96-97 have a totally different intake path.

autozon and pepboys now have these modular style intakes so you can build your own intake. They're multi plated plastic so they're very resistant to the elements, but look a lill janky to me. If you want looks... Id modify a mustang tube. If you want performance, look elsewhere, cause intake side mods have proven to not be worth the money unless you're stroked.

a 96-97 doesn't need to modify a mustang tube...

well the MAF to TB connection should be identicle, but some tubes need modified to turn down rather than to the side to get into a fender. I wouldnt consider altering the intake unless the filter was away from the hot air from the radiator fan. Even with a "cold air" setup I've seen 60 deg. intake temps in the middle of winter.

right now im using that one

but after the maf to a k&n filter in the fender.
ill take some pics, but for what they charged at auto zone ($39) id go elsewhere now.

get a pice of mendrel bent exaust tubing, paint it, couplers, and id be happy.

some use plastic parts found at ace, or homedepot in the plumming section. a saw and a few couplers later and youve got an intake.

i just run a 3" 60deg. "street" PVC elbow and sized the pod to fit around the larger part of the elbow and a 3" rubber coupler to the maf, used it for years and works great.
