Intake Manifold Q

Question guys, this will be the 3rd time we have changed the manifold on my dads 96 cougar, so I was wondering if the manifold from a 01 Crown Vic, Mercury Grand Marquis and Town Car will work on the cat?! The last one cracked were the nipple on the back is, but the whole front is in good shape. I posted a thread here a couple of months back, and 6 out of the 8 plugs were filled with antifreeze. Thanks

That stupid nipple is leaking on my manifold to. Its a slow leak so I've gotten lazy about replacing the manifold. But every month or so I have to pull the plugs on the passenger side, and clean them out with compressed air.

I think that all the manifolds are the same, however because they are all the same I don't think that any one is more or less likely to crack than another.

01 will be PI, so you need to do the common stuff for putting a PI intake on a NPI engine if the 96 still has the NPI engine.
