how rich?

I am having a problem,when I am in 2nd gear and floor itI accelerate slower than when it is 75% and at about 4k it starts like clearing its self out and starts to accelerate more, during 0-30 or so mph thetac is frozen at 2.5k. Any ideas? I cleaned my MAF and it was nasty and I am going to relearn the EEC today, anything else that I can do that is relitavely cheap to get it running better?

I have no mods other than no air silencer.

1996 sport 4.6 130k and still strong.
1991 SC 3.8 project and toy.

Sounds like the MAF is gone. . . .does it run better/different with the MAF unplugged?

Currently In the Short Bus Garage:
2 - '94 T-bird LX's 4.6L (one with 300,000+ miles and one with 200,000+ miles)
1 - '97 Mark VIII LSC - INTECH V8 (120,000+ miles)
1 - '97 F150 XLT 4x4 Flareside, 4.6L (130,000+ miles) - Currently being dismantled and rebuilt with upgrades!
1 - '00 Mustang GT (likes to accelerate with the brake on!), 4.6L (60,000+ miles - only comes out when I need to get somewhere fast.)

oh yeah, and they all have 4R70W's

well I just relearned the ecc after pulling fuse 15 and it runs amazing, I love it it takes off like a rocket.

1996 sport 4.6 130k and still strong.
1991 SC 3.8 project and toy.
