pi swap

here is the problem i did the pi swap on my 94 thunderbird and now i am looking to buy a 96-97 throttle cable and the ford dealer said he cant find any. is the 96-97 mustang throttle cable the same or is there one from a different car i can use any help would be appreciated.

OK, maybe not soon to be, but i will have it all sooner or later: PI heads, kooks headers, comp cams, 24# injectors, U/D pullies, J-mod, Aluminum driveshaft, and mustang convertor all into a 94 thunderbird.

should be able to find one no problem in a junk yard

14.5 @ 97mph (need a higher stall, car bogged w/ stock converter + mickeys, lol)

96-97 Thunderbird/cougar throttle cables have been discontinued to my knowlage.I think there is 2 or 3 dealers left they may stock them.Ask your dealer to run a locator on it.Or if you can get the part number run it on www.partsvoice.com

best bet would be a junkyard, I have found many t-birds and cougars at them. there are bound to be some 96/97s

I fabbed up a little bracket for mine just to drive it, i bought a 96-97 to put on but my little bracket did the trick. (ill put the correct cable on when i get my motor back in the car.
