DPFE Sensor Swap

I am going to replace my DPFE sensor on my 94 t-bird 4.6L to fix a check engine light issue. I located it this morning on the back side of the throttle body by the firewall and it looks like a real pain to do anyone have any tricks on this one to make it easier???? thanks

removing the cowl will free up a ton of room for this(its still doable without, but its a pain), after that its cake, just unplug the connector on the back, take off the 2 bolts holding it to the bracket, and remove the 2 hoses that go to the egr tube

use a ratcheting wrench to remove it and when u go to put it back on place a little soapy water on the vacuume line to get it to slip in easier

Another option - buy a performance tune. The tune I have assumes the DPFE is fine and ignores its output while still running the EGR system correctly. My car "was" on its third DPFE, now the defective DPFE takes up space while the PCM runs the EGR system just fine.
