What rpm does yours idle at now??

I don't know why you would want it lower, but I guess that could be done via a tune/chip.

These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test.

If I'm thinking of the same car you're referring to, his idle only SEEMS lower than stock due to the aggressive aftermarket cams he is running.

You could get comp 262's for around 300 on corral if you're lucky. If you're gonna cam it, you may as well do a pi swap while it's down. Difficulty would be measured by your mechanical ability, and confidence in knowing you wouldn't **** anything up. If you want to do it yourself see if you could find someone who's done a cam/headswap before, and see if they'll help you with it. BTW, where in Missouri are you?

The pi swap would be H/C/I, with various hoses, and ****. But you'd want the 262's instead of the pi cams. You can buy a full pi swap kit on ebay, but they're a little pricey. Look on Corral for everything. You could get pi heads, and intake for 2-300, and the 262's for maybe 300. That'd be money well spent. Then $50 for labor if you can find someone near you to do the swap for beer, food, and gas. Good luck.

$600 for Livernoise bullit cams... probally the best you can buy. http://livernoismotorsports.com/
and buy a service manual... it a pretty dificult job... plan on having your car off the road for a couple of days but im warning you if your going into this with no knowlege at all. your probally better off going to service or perfomance shop. L8ter
