Question 94 Cougars

I have two 94 Cougars. One is wrecked and it has a 4.6L I think. The good one has a 3.8L V6 which I just did a headgasket on and now have water leaking from behind the timing cover and also into the oil. Can anyone tell me if I can put the V8 into the V6 car without having to use the Transmission from the V8 car. Both cars are automatics and have multi port injection. Also, will I need to use the flywheel and torque converter from the V8 car, or the one from the V6 car. Thanks in advance for any help.

use the v6 car to fix the body on the v8 car, less work, you would have to change out wiring, engine, trans rear end , fuel pump exhaust , etc
