I've really never seen a chain break, but ya' never know. If it did break, there'd likely be PTV contact, meaning you would need all new valves in that head. Pull the valvecovers first. You'll be able to tell if the chain came off from there.
If thats the case, you've got a choice of headswapping the LE, or motorswapping it. Personally I would choose the motor swap.
