Who's around KC?

I wanted to see if anyone is from around the Kansas City area?
See if you would want a meet and greet or something, I know its winter and all, but I'd like to see other Thunderbird's and Cougar's before I leave for basic.

I know Jason, he talks to my brother alot about his SC. Saw him the other day, but didn't get to talk much. And I don't want to pay the membership fee's on SCCOA to talk to him.

You don't haveta be a member to post on SCCoA. I'm not a member, but post over there semi-frequently.

Karlen is.... Known... on KCSR....

His first post was that he was Traysliding, smacked a curb, and a "Douchebag" cop was profiling him and gave him a ticket.

Then he posts a video of him drifting his cavalier at excessive speeds through a residential neighborhood.

Lol, that wasn't my first post, and the cop wasn't a douchebag.

I don't drive wrecklessly, my Tbird isn't running and I won't be here for meets till probably summer 2009.

Ya I trayslid my Cavalier, and why does it matter? I'm just trying to meet people who have Thunderbirds, give me a break.

Like I said, If you drive responsibly around us, I'm completely fine with you comming to our meets. We rag on Tyler all the time for driving like a maniac. Don't need 2 people to babysit.

It was in a empty parking lot...lol, I see what you did there...

Don't tell me you have never done a donut in one of your cars? It's the same thing, just with FWD.

So if you're in a parking lot it's not reckless? I think some Police officers might disagree with you.

I heard it was in a residential neighborhood. I'll tell you this right now, that kind of idiot driving is NOT welcome in our club.

I was doing that, after I drove around the part of the neighborhood and saw it was clear. This was one time, never done it since, never will do it again.

It's fine if you don't like me for things I've done in my past, but don't be a dick about it.

You probably won't even have to ever see me, I leave for Marine Corps in a month, and will be gone in training for a year.

Ask Tyler about me being a dick... if you are gonna do stupid things, I am gonna hang you out to dry for them. Show some progress about not being a dumbass and then I'll let up. It's not that I don't like you, I dont know you... whether I see you or not doesn't matter, people doing dumb stuff on the road is how people get KILLED. Driving around a neighborhood to check if it's clean means nothing, it's a matter of seconds for a kid to run out his front door and into the street. Bet you felt like a badass driving in chevy's econobox like the fast and furious guys, sure would have gotten mad props from your street racing buds for being on the news for smashin a kid.

Congrats on getting the heater core working!

Next "Meet" is a fixit meet a Jason's. He wants help doing general maintenance on his car.

We've talked about having a small one in January, but there probably won't be a good sized one until spring.
