seafoam

Just FYI, I was at Autozone the other day and looked up and saw a can of seafoam. I guess they're gonna start carrying it now - I could never find this stuff locally. Price is 4.99.

Car runs smoother after using the stuff!

One can will last you for quite some time.

I enjoy the looks I get from other motorists as I drive by, with smoke pouring out the exhaust pipes.

BTW: Get my message regarding the 15th?

I hear ya about the smoke cloud but I was dissapointed there wasn't more smoke. I was expecting a HUGE white cloud - one where you couldn't even see the house across the street - lol.

I now have no problem turning the tires for a fair distance now starting from a stop. Before it was a pathetic squeal that lasted for about a second or two. I wonder what's in that stuff that makes it strong enough to remove all that gunk from just one use?

I also got your message about the 15th. It will be tough on a Sunday but I'll just see when the day comes. I bet you're stoked!

Where did you pour the Seafoam? I have a stupid "egr no flow" code that keeps coming up and I think this might help fix it.

Smoke billowed out of the Vic. I felt like James Bond, activating a smoke screen. You should have seen the traffic behind me.

I pour a small amount in a cup. Then, with the engine running, unhook the PCV tube and allow the vacuum to suck up the SeaFoam. It should only take a little before the car stalls.

Wait 10-15 minutes, then fire her up and enjoy the smoke screen.

Aw man, I remember even reading about letting the car die, waiting, then starting the car. I just forgot because I was so excited about the smoke thingy. Guess, I'm gonna have to do it again.

I actually took a spare vacuum hose I had, took the plug off of the vacuum tree (just to the right of the brake booster) and connected the spare hose to the nipple that was formerly plugged. I then just let it drink right out of the can and rolled the throttle from the throttle body.

I enjoyed hanging out despite the cold. So how is she running? I assume that today will be the first opportunity you've had to get her out of the garage since then.

You are correct. I plan to take her out a little later tonight. If you want, we can meet up somewhere and you can take her for a spin.

Give me a ring if that sounds good to you.
